Introduction

Interested in the scientific study of human behaviour? In A Level Psychology, you’ll look at different explanations for the way humans (and non-humans) behave, analyse evidence and theories, compare research, undertake some practical research and look at how ideas and theories in each area of psychology have developed.

After your course, you could progress to higher education to study Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Psychology, Business Management, Psychiatry or Teaching. This A Level is also an excellent basis for further study in the area of Psychology, and a useful tool in many areas of study or employment, including the Police force, Nursing, Business Management, Human Resources (HR), Hospitality, Counselling, Social Work, the Prison Service and Criminology.
