Sociology is the study of the social part of us, the pattern of interaction with other people which is necessary to our very existence.

Course content

Sociology is the study of human society - it allows you to examine current affairs, how society works and the people within it as well as investigating topics such as education and the media. Field trips include a visit to the Hindu Temple in Newcastle and a visit to Belfast. Outside speakers will be invited to give talks.
