5 GCSEs Grade A* to C including English Language at Grade C.

Study Units
AS - Law making & Legal Personnel and The Legal System.

A2 - Criminal Law – Offences against the Person and Property and Concepts.

Assessment
AS - Exams in January and June. Tests during topics and mock exams.

Course content

In this course you’ll see how law is formed, how it works and how it solves disputes. You’ll study the English Legal System, the main principles of law, and visit crown and magistrates’ courts to get a full understanding of the law in action.

Progression and Careers

Higher Education – Law then Legal Practise Course and Training Contract to be a Solicitor or Barrister. Vocational Course to be a Barrister.

Careers include Lawyer, Solicitor, Judge or Police Officer.
