Entry Requirements
5 GCSE’s at Grade A* to C, plus an enthusiasm and interest in textiles.
Study Units
AS - Themed project and an externally set assignment and eight hour practical.
A2 - Independently selected practical work and written study and an externally set assignment and twelve hour practical.
Assessment
Coursework and exams (monthly assignments and a final exam).

Set your creative side free with real hands-on work. The course helps you to experiment with a broad range of materials and techniques. You’ll use traditional and modern ideas including constructed, knitted, woven, printed and embroidered. This is for students who are keen to develop their visual skills and take risks with their work. There are visits to galleries, museums, workshops and studios throughout the course.
HNC or HND in Graphic Design, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Foundation Degree in Fine Art. Other degrees in Fashion, Textiles, Interior Design, Costume Design.
Career opportunities in the Fashion Industries, such as Fashion Designer, Retail Buyer and Sales and Retail Management.
