AS - Biology and Disease, The Variety of Living Organisms and a practical assignment to sharpen your investigative skills.

A2 - Populations and Environment, Control in Cells and Organisms and a practical assignment.

Assessment
AS/A2 - Exams and practical assignment.

Course content

A Level Biology is exciting and unique. It builds on concepts and skills that you’ve developed in GCSE Science. You’ll study a wide range of fascinating topics from molecular biology and genetic engineering through to ecosystems. If you have an interest in science and are thinking about going into a scientific or medical profession, A Level Biology is a great place to start.

Progression and Careers

Degree in Biology, Biomedical Science or Science related area.

Career paths include: Marine Biologist, Research Scientist,Ecologist, Biomedical Scientist, Speech and Language Therapist.
